By Todd

I’ve been writing this journal now off and on for almost seven years and sometimes just assume that everyone knows who I am talking about when I mention someone. So to make things a little easier for new(er) readers I am finally getting around to writing a list of who’s who here. I’ll try my best to add others as they show up in the journal or as I remember that I mentioned them. So onward:

Me: If you’re wondering about this – you’re on the wrong page. Go to this page.

Sage: Most of you know who Sage is – probably many of you know her better than you know me. If you somehow missed it, though, Sage is my partner. We’re married though that doesn’t hold the significance that it does for so many people. Not that we aren’t committed – it is just that the important declaration of our commitment to one another happened between the two of us. The one we did in front of the Justice of the Peace (trivia buffs know that this happened on April 11, 1992 – they’ll also know we met in person over the Thanksgiving holiday of 1991, and that we met online back in September of 1991) made the government and our families happy though. Want to know more about how we met? Read here, then here, then here, then here. I could write about it but Sage does a much better job.

Paul: Our son, born in 1998 and facilitator of uncountable positive changes in our lives.

Kite: Sage’s mom, also known as Kiteweather, figures fairly heavily in both our journals because she figures heavily in our lives. Definitely not your typical mother-in-law (cohort-out-law was the term we once used) she helped us a great deal during the yurt years and continues to visit us about 3-4 times every year. Were it not for her, the yurt years wouldn’t have been possible – partly due to the fact that it was her friend’s land we were on, and partly because once we were there we had no clue what we were doing and she taught us nearly everything we needed to know about living there.

Badger: Kite’s partner – she lives on the same womyns land that Kite does. Badger has been trained to do acupuncture and chiropractic and has been a big help in that sense as well.

I know I am missing some folks but in the interest of getting this up now I’ll end it here and ask that if anyone can think of anyone I’ve missed to please let me know.
